Membership

Msilikali SACCO membership is voluntary and open to persons in possession of the following qualifications:

• Employees of Malawi Defence Force (MDF) and their spouses and dependants
• Retired Employees of the Malawi Defence Force
• Employees of Government Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs)
• Employees of Private Companies
• Employees of Non Government Organisations (NGOs)
• Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
• Community groups i.e. inclusive women and youth groups.

Why Msilikali SACCO

MSACCO exists first and foremost to serve our members who in essence own and control the SACCO through the Elected Board of Directors . MSACCO offers lower interest rates on loans and higher interest rates on savings, making its services easily accessible by all its members.

Membership Requirement

To join Msilikali SACCO one has to do the following:

• Fill membership applications forms
• Qualify for full membership within 3 months by;
  • Contributing once-off membership entrance fee of MK 5,000.00
  • Holding non-redeemable shares of MK 30,000.00
• Contributing annually a membership subscription fee of MK 3,000.00

Note: Non-Redeemable Shares are permanent and non-refundable shares that form capital of MSACCO which are subject to adjustment with an Annual General meeting resolution approved by the members.
